BETHANY, West Virginia - January 12, 2026 - Hiram lost both of its duals on Monday evening to Bethany (45-5) and Mount Union (42-0), marking the first of four events for the busiest week of the 2025-26 season.
Hiram sent seven of its wrestlers to Bethany College for the tri-meet, with Emily Lorenzon (207 lbs) picking up the team's lone victory over Bethany's Myjanniea Baptist by fall (2:07). Lorenzon, who was named Terrier of the Week earlier in the day, now has a team-high 10 pins on the season.
Also competing throughout the evening was Kretina Rai (124 lbs), DeJonae Rivers (131 lbs), Leighna Prater (145 lbs), Allydia Byard (160 lbs), Alma Morales (160 lbs) and Alazhandra Williams (180 lbs).
The Terriers will continue competition on Friday, when they head to Waynesburg, PA for a dual with the Yellow Jackets.
