TIFFIN, Ohio – January 10, 2026 – Hiram women's wrestling went 1-3 over a busy day at the Tiffin Duals, which primarily consisted of Division II competition. The Terriers beat Lourdes (25-10), but lost to Northern Michigan (29-5), Frostburg State (34-9) and Tiffin (38-6).

DeJonae Rivers (131 lbs) got the day started with a win by fall (1:30) over Northern Michigan, adding to her recent surge. Alazhandra Williams (180 lbs) followed with a win by decision over Frostburg State.

The winning dual came against Lourdes, when Allydia Byard (160 lbs) and Emily Lorenzon  (207 lbs) both won by fall; the bouts finished in 2:24 and 0:41 respectively. With the help of a few forfeits, Hiram was able to secure its eighth dual win of the 2025-26 campaign.

A quick turnaround is in store for the Terriers, as they next will compete in a tri-match against Bethany and Mount Union on Monday in Bethany, WV.
