Mayer Caps Off Remarkable Career With 90th Goal At Wooster

Terriers Lose To Fighting Scots In Last Game Of 2025

WOOSTER, Ohio - April 25, 2025 - Hiram lost in its final game of the season to Wooster, 22-1, at John P. Papp Stadium.

The game marked the makeup of the April 9 game that was postponed.

Ethan Mayer capped off his six-year career with his 90th career goal, making him the third player in program history to reach that mark (Tim Stucky 115, Nick Rollason 106). Micky Morgan was credited with the assist on the goal, while also recording a team-high three shots.

Wooster scored the first 16 goals in the game and eventually moved into a three-way tie for third place in the NCAC with a 4-3 conference record. Oberlin and Kenyon also enter the final stretch of the year with that same mark in NCAC play.

The Terriers will now set their sights on 2026, when they begin their first ever season as a full-time member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
