HIRAM, Ohio - April 15, 2025 - On a night with rainy conditions and cold temperatures, Hiram fell to Wittenberg by a final score of 25-2 in the final game of the season at Henry Field.
Trevor Nordstrom and Aaron Gardner each scored a goal, both of which were assisted by Ethan Mayer. Gray Perry had one of the best performances of the day, tallying team-highs in ground balls (five) and caused turnovers (three).
Wittenberg took control of the game by scoring the first 20 goals, six of which came from Dillon McKeigue. Nathan Brown also added two goals and three assists to fuel the road team's production.
Aidan Griffin tallied 12 saves in the contest, giving him 10+ saves in a season-long six straight games. Griffin and Aaron Gardner each had four ground balls to lead the rest of the team in that department.
The Terriers will continue conference play on Saturday, when they travel to Crawfordsville, IN for a matchup with Wabash at 2 p.m.
