HIRAM, Ohio – December 6, 2025 – The Hiram women's basketball team hosted the Wolverines of Grove City on Saturday afternoon for the Terriers' second PAC matchup of the season. The Terriers fought hard, making the Wolverines earn every basket, but they eventually fell short, 71-68.
It was a back-and-forth affair with the Wolverines, with each team holding leads for certain periods of time, with the Terriers finding themselves down by 10 points late in the fourth quarter. Hiram didn't quit, though, clawing their way back to make it a one-possession game on a Sarah Seaman layup, 71-68 with 18 seconds remaining, but the stingy Wolverine defense staved off the comeback attempt by making one defensive stop that would have sent the game into overtime.
The Terriers were led by Seaman, who finished with 18 points and 4 rebounds. Seaman was the spark for the Terriers, scoring 13 points in the fourth quarter and shooting lights out from behind the arc. Also scoring 18 points finished Advika Srinivasan, who hit 5 threes in 29 minutes off of the bench, providing a huge lift for the Terriers. The 18 points from Srinivasan marks a new career-high, as the senior looks to continue her impressive run. Finally, playing a huge role for the Terriers was Isabella Caceres, who finished with 11 points and dished out 9 assists as well.
The Terriers will be back in action on Wednesday, when they welcome the Scots of Alma College to Price Gymnasium for a 5 p.m. tipoff.
