HIRAM, Ohio - October 29, 2025 – Hiram finished out its regular season with a 3-1 conference win over Thiel College inside Price Gymnasium. With the win, the Terriers finished out the regular season at 24-2 and 15-1 in conference play, both of which featured a perfect 10-0 record at home. Although it's postseason seed was already determined, Hiram also officially picked up a win against every team in the PAC after losing to the Tomcats earlier in the campaign before earning revenge on Saturday afternoon.
The Hiram women's volleyball program also recognized three seniors before Saturday afternoon's match, as
Kelly Hoffman,
Brooke Fishback and
Riley France joined their families and were honored for their achievements over a combined 10 seasons with the team.
The Terriers made quick work in the first set at 25-14, with France taking the last two points of the set with a successful kill and solo block. The second set saw Hiram stumble a bit, although the loss proved to be the Tomcats' one and only set win of the match.
As for the third and fourth sets, the Terriers regained the form that has made them a formidable opponent for every team in the PAC Tournament, with multiple scoring runs from all over the court and an ability to take advantage of Thiel's errors helped wrap things up by scores of 25-20 and 25-21.
The Terriers return back to action at home for the quarterfinals for the PAC Tournament against the Bearcats of Saint Vincent on Tuesday at 7 p.m.; the winner of that game will play either Westminster or Chatham on Thursday.Â
