Hiram’s Season Comes To An End With Scoreless Battle Against Chatham

Terriers Play Tough In Goalless Affair

HIRAM, Ohio – October 29, 2025 – The Hiram men's soccer team's season came to an end on Wednesday evening at Henry Field, as the Terriers fought hard to secure a draw against Chatham.

It was a defensive affair, as neither team broke through, which ended up giving each team one point in the standings. The Terriers were also playing with PAC Tournament implications on the line. Needing a W&J loss, the Terriers fell just short of the PAC Tournament.

As for the game, the Terriers had 29 total shots on the game and 13 shots on goal, but could not find the back of the net, as the Chatham goalkeeper Maxwell Cottrill kept his team in it. Carmine Boscarello led the Terriers with six shots and five shots on goal, as his stellar play continued on through the end of the season.

Defensively, the Terriers had a outstanding performance, in which the Cougars only recorded nine shots and three shots on goal. Will McCale stepped up and made three crucial saves that kept the Terriers knotted and also led to his second clean sheet of the season.

The Terriers season comes to an end, as they will return back to action in August 2026.
