Hiram Roars Back In Dominant Finish At Bethany

Terriers Score 3 Late Goals To Return To Win Column

BETHANY, West Virginia - October 15, 2025 - Hiram found its groove at the perfect time on Wednesday late afternoon, as the team erased a 1-0 deficit with three unanswered goals over the final 24 minutes of a 3-1 win at Hoag Field.

It was a contest that was decided in the critical moments, as the clock was winding down and the scoreboard read 1-0 in favor of Bethany through the first 60 minutes. Up to that point, the Bison's lone score came on a Jordan Palmer goal in the 54th minute, which was assisted by Monica Bird.

Momentum then shifted in a hurry.

Hiram scored three goals in a span of 13 minutes, an onslaught of offense that began with a Bella Simmons goal off a Becca Devericks assist in the 67th minute. It marked a team-high fifth goal of the campaign for the senior Simmons, while also giving Devericks her second career assist in the blue and red.

In the 76th minute, Olivia Kraft found the back of the net for her second score of the season to give Hiram its first lead of the day (2-1). That goal proved to be the first game-winning goal in Kraft's five-year tenure with the Terriers, a special moment for a student-athlete that has given so much to the program.

Less than four minutes elapsed before Kali Baker added some insurance, scoring her second goal of the season off a Kraft assist to make it a 3-1 game with less than 11 minutes remaining. The Hiram defense held strong the rest of the way, limiting the Bison to just one shot on target over the last 30 minutes of the contest.

With two wins in conference play, Hiram will look to continue climbing the PAC ladder when it hosts Geneva on Saturday at 1 p.m. as part of Senior Day.
