TIFFIN, Ohio - March 29, 2024 - Day two of the second ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship ended with the Terriers taking a loss Friday afternoon at The Heminger Center, as the team ended up losing to Tiffin, 10-14, in the consolation bracket of the event. Members of the all-tournament team will be announced on Saturday.Â
Â
Despite the loss, the Terriers had a great showing but could not put it together in the end. The team had beaten Tiffin in its prior two meetings, including a 15-6 victory on Thursday, but the Warriors held the upper hand throughout the four quarters on Friday.
Â
Although the Terriers fell short, their 2024 season features the most wins in a single season in program history (nine), the longest win streak in program history (seven) and a Great Midwest Blue Division title. The program currently ranks second in all of Division III, according to the latest STUNT rankings.
Â
Hiram will now await its next step for the rest of the season; the team is already a three-time STUNT Nationals qualifier.
