ALMA, Michigan - February 4, 2024 - The No. 2 STUNT team in Division III, Hiram College, split its pair of games on Sunday afternoon, losing to No. 1 Alma (23-0) before bouncing back with a win over Concordia Chicago (15-6) inside Art Smith Arena.

The victory continues the team's remarkable streak of winning at least one game on every date of regular-season competition dating back to April 6, 2022.

The Terriers entered the season ranked No. 2 in Division III and No. 3 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference preseason poll, which included one first-place vote.

Alma, the defending national champions who beat Division I Kentucky earlier this week, topped Hiram in the first game of the day. The Scots scored 15 different times over the four quarters to pull out the victory.

In the second game, Hiram started the first quarter strong by scoring on partner stunts 1 and 2. The team then scored on pyramids 1 and 2 to take a 4-1 lead into halftime.

The second half saw more of the same positive results, with the Terriers scoring on jump and tumble routines 1, 3 and 4 in the third quarter. To end the busy day of action, Hiram scored on all four team routines in the final quarter.

Hiram will look to keep the momentum going when it travels to Erie, PA for a pair of games against GMAC opponents, Trevecca Nazarene and Mercyhurst, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
