HIRAM, Ohio - March 29, 2026 - Hiram STUNT wrapped up its season on Sunday inside Price Gymnasium, beating Aquinas for the second time this season (9-3) before falling to Heidelberg in the season finale (12-0). The two games were preceded by a celebration for seniors Hannah Murton and Emma Shelnutt, who contributed a combined seven seasons with the program before capping off their collegiate careers on their home mat on Sunday.

Aside from the results, the day provided a special opportunity to commemorate the careers of those two student-athletes.

Shelnutt was a three-year member of the Hiram program, primarily serving as a backspot and jumper over her time with the Terriers. She also was a member of the 2024 STUNT team that advanced to the Division III national championship against Alma.

Murton was a four-year member of the Terriers STUNT team, which included a 7-4 season in 2023 and a trip to the STUNT National Championship Game in 2024. Murton was a CSCA Academic Honor Roll selection, as well as an academic honor roll selection when the Terriers were a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

The Terriers scored their points against Aquinas in the second (two points), third (two points) and fourth (five points) quarters. Hiram scored on all but two routines for the entirety of the game.

Hiram will now set its sights on 2027, where the team will be entering its ninth season in program history.
