NORTH CANTON, Ohio - February 11, 2024 - A three-game weekend reached a decisive point for Hiram STUNT on Sunday, as the Terriers were either going to finish 2-1 or 1-2 with a conference game against Division II Walsh scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Terriers delivered yet again.
Hiram improved to 3-2 with a 14-3 victory over Walsh at Alumni Arena. The program has now won at least one game on each of its last nine dates of regular-season competition, a remarkable streak that dates back to April 2022.
The team scored in all four quarters of the game and started on a high note with points on routines 1 and 2 for both partner stunts and pyramids. At the end of the first half, Hiram led, 4-0.
The jump and tumble routines continued to be one of the team's strengths, as it scored on all four of those routines in the third quarter. Another 6 points on the team routines in the fourth quarter was more than enough to clinch the winning weekend.
Jay Manigo, Nina Casalandra and Brianna James each had a power ranking of 25 to lead the Terriers in the dominant win.
Hiram will now prepare for its first home game of the season; the Terriers will host Tiffin next Sunday at 11 a.m. inside Price Gymnasium in Hiram, Ohio.
