Pilgram Scores 3 Goals In Loss To Oberlin

Terriers Move To 5-6 This Season

OBERLIN, Ohio - April 1, 2023 - Noah Pilgram scored 3 goals in Hiram's 26-4 loss to Oberlin on Saturday afternoon at Dick Bailey Field.

It marked Pilgram's fourth straight game with multiple goals, and his second straight game with at least three goals. He ranks second on the team this season with 21 goals. Also scoring for the Terriers was Micky Morgan, who has 11 goals in his first collegiate season.

Hiram's Aidan Griffin had 21 saves on the day, with Aaron Gardner and Brett Johnson each picking up a pair of caused turnovers. Gardner also led the team with 5 ground balls.

Oberlin got better as the game progressed; the Terriers held the Yeomen to just 4 goals in the first quarter before the opposition tallied 7+ goals in each of the last three quarters. Jacob Starcke had 9 goals to lead all players in the game.

The Terriers have a big chance to bounce back when it faces Wittenberg next Saturday at 1 p.m. at Henry Field.
