OLIVET, Michigan - March 5, 2023 - The Hiram STUNT team improved its record to 3-1 with a pair of wins over Concordia University (13-4) and Aquinas College (13-0) on Sunday afternoon.

The Terriers find themselves 2 games over .500 yet again; the team finished this past season with a 7-5 record.

Hiram performed well in all facets of its first match against the Cardinals, scoring 3 points on partner stunts, 2 points on pyramids and scoring on level 2 of jumps and tumbling. Their final 7 points of the game came on the team routine (3 points in round 1, level 1 | 1 point in round 2, level 3 | 3 points in round 4, level 2).

That momentum rode its way into the later stages of the afternoon, when the Terriers scored in the partner stunts (2 points), pyramids (2 points) and team routines (5 points). The team routines included 3 points on round 2/level 1 and 2 points on round 4/level 2.

Hiram will look to carry this success over to its first and only home event of the season, when it hosts Alma, Olivet and Muskingum on March 11 beginning at 12 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium.
