HIRAM, Ohio - March 22, 2023 - The Terriers faced Penn State Altoona in a match that lasted for 5 sets, with Hiram pulling out the win to improve its conference record to 5-3 this season.

Not one team seemed to have control of the game as it progressed; Penn State Altoona won the first set that ended in a score of 28-26.

Hiram managed to win sets two and three, but the Lions would not let up going into the fourth set as they managed to stop the Terriers and level the score.

Hiram came away with it in the final set and had 3 players with a double-digit total in kills: Cullen Sivak (13), Jackson Deubner (11) and Kyle Martini (11). Deubner also added a game-high 13 digs.

This marks Hiram's 7th win of the season and will bode well for them as they head into this weekend against Penn State Behrend on Saturday at 1 p.m.
