HIRAM, Ohio - November 29, 2023 - The Hiram men's basketball team carried a 10-point lead at halftime before Denison found its form in an 82-63 loss on Wednesday evening at Price Gymnasium.

The Terriers played with determination in the first half, outscoring the Big Red in second-chance points (11-4), points in the paint (20-16) and fast-break points (9-6) during that span. The team also earned its production from the charity stripe, shooting 78% from the free-throw line (11-14).

Denison took control of the game in the second half, as they added on 52 points on 18-31 shooting from the field and 6-11 shooting from beyond the arc. Ricky Radtke scored 15 points to lead the Big Red, while Scotty Dean, Trevor Reed and Tyler Miller also scored in double-figures.

Trent Jakacki finished the night with a game-high 24 points, which included 13-of-14 shooting from the free-throw line. He also contributed on the defensive end, totaling 3 steals and a block.
