WAYNESBURG, Pennsylvania - October 7, 2023 - The Hiram men's golf team lost to Waynesburg on Saturday afternoon at the Greene County Country Club.

The two teams played in a four-ball format, with five different pairs of golfers on each team squaring off against each other. The Yellow Jackets won four of the four-ball matches, while the fifth match was halved.

- Matthew Karpeal and Tyler Rollinson 5 & 4 over Reece Zeigler and Adam Sibila

- Hudson Pincavitch and Grady Palmer 5 & 4 over Athan McKnabb and Robert Morgan

- Michael Clark and Gage Fuller 3 & 1 over Cole Bates and Jayce Dietrich

- Tyler Townsend and Nathan Barnhart 3 & 2 over Brennan Cain and Ashton Jones

- Liam Mielcarek and Derek Sherwood halved with Matt Ankrom and Kent Peterson

The event marked a great opportunity for the entirety of Hiram's 10-man roster to compete and get a chance to make one final impression before the winter.

The Terriers will return to action in the spring – a full schedule for that portion of the season will be released as soon as it is made available.
