HIRAM, Ohio- September 15, 2026 - Hiram men's and women's golf finished up the Jimmy Hanlin Classic hosted by Ohio Northern University on Monday afternoon, with the men placing 8th at Little Mountain Golf Course and Stonewater Golf Course  

On the men's side, leading the way on the weekend was Ohio Northern, Ohio Wesleyan, and John Carroll (B).  

As a team, the Terriers showed major improvement over the two rounds, shooting a 329 on Sunday and a 314 on Monday. Three of the team's top four individual scores improved from round one to round two. 

Ian Muka was the team leader in both rounds, shooting a 78 in round one and a 75 in round two. It marked the third consecutive tournament Muka has had the lowest score for the Terriers. Overall, Muka fired a +13 and finished inside of the top 20. 
 
Michael Clark showed the biggest improvement over the weekend has he improved his score by 14 strokes over the two rounds. Clark fired a 75 on Monday, marking his best score of the young season.

Patrick Crooks made his collegiate debut as he improved his score from an 89 on Sunday to a 77 on Monday. Robert Morgan rounded out the team scoring, shooting a 170 over the two-day stint. 

On the women's side, Kayla Weisenberger and Gretchen Smink competed individually as both student-athletes made improvements from round one to round two. Weisenberger shot an 125 in round one - turning it around in round two, firing a 106. Smink followed suit as she improved her score from a 120 to a 112.

The men's team will get more exposure to the PAC as it travels to Washington, PA to compete in the Washington County Fall Invite hosted by Waynesburg University at Washington Country Club on September 21st.  

The women's team will travel to Glemoore Country Club to compete in the Cavalier Fall Classic hosted by Walsh University this Thursday, September 17th.
