HIRAM, Ohio - August 2, 2022 – Hiram College football will open the 2022 season on the road in Bethany, W. Va. on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. against the Bethany College Bison.
Coming off a 1-9 (0-9 NCAC) campaign in their first season under Head Coach Jack Mrozinski that saw improvement on both sides of the ball, the Terriers will open their 2022 slate with a non-conference matchup against the Bison.
Following their season opener, the Terriers head home to Charles A. Henry Field at Malmisur Stadium for their North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) and home opener against The College of Wooster on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 12 p.m.
The Terriers 2022 slate features eight matchups against NCAC foes, four at home and four on the road, as well as two non-conference matchups.
Hiram's conference opener against Wooster kicks off a three-game homestand for the Terriers, with the 2021 NCAC Champion DePauw University Tigers coming to town on Saturday, Sept. 17 at noon.
The Terriers wrap up their three-game homestand on Saturday, Sept. 24 against the Wittenberg Tigers at 12 p.m., before opening the month of October against the Oberlin College Yeomen in Oberlin, Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m.
Next up and after a bye week, the Terriers travel to Granville, Ohio on Saturday, Oct 15 for a matchup against Denison at 3 p.m.
Homecoming and Hollinger Hall of Fame Weekend are slated for Saturday, Oct. 22, as the Terriers host the Kenyon College Owls in another NCAC conference matchup at 1 p.m.
Hiram again hits the road for the penultimate time in 2022, visiting Crawfordsville, Ind. for a matchup against the Wabash College Little Giants on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m., before returning home for their home finale on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The Terriers host their second non-conference foe, the Hilbert College Hawks, in a Senior Day matchup on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. to wrap up their home slate, and wrap up the 2022 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 12 on the road in Delaware, Ohio against the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops at 1 p.m.
