Women's Volleyball Loses Semi-Final Match With Wittenberg, 3-0

Terriers outscored 25-13, 25-14, 25-16; End Season with 15-13 Record

Box Score Springfield, OH - November 5, 2022  --  The Women's Volleyball team lost in straight sets to Wittenberg in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament today, 25-13, 25-14, 25-16.

Wittenberg, the top seed in the NCAC, hammered 45 kill shots to 18 for the Terriers.  Wittenberg hit at a .323 percentage while Hiram only managed a .019 hitting percentage.

Hiram could not match the hosts' offense as the winners jumped out to big leads; 14-4 in set #1 and 17-7 in each of sets #2 and #3.

Sophomore middle Emily Richardson and freshman outside hitter Brooke Norris each scored on six kill shots.  Richardson also was in on three blocks. .Freshman setter Brooke Fishback assisted on 13 points while senior DS Kenzie Brannon led the team with 11 digs and two service aces.

Hiram concludes its successful season with a 15-13 mark and reaching the semi-finals of the NCAC Tournament.
