BEREA, Ohio – September 15, 2021 – Hiram women's soccer was defeated by Baldwin Wallace, 4-0, on Wednesday in a non-conference road matchup.
Sydney Rice scored the first goal of the night for the Yellow Jackets about ten minutes into the match. Holding a 1-0 lead at halftime, Rice picked up her second goal of the night at the 57
th minute mark extending the home team's lead to 2-0.
Two more goals ensued for the home team, with Baldwin Wallace going on to win 4-0.
Emily Kazimore and
Ashley Dekam both recorded shots for the Terriers. Goalkeeper
Skyler Huda picked up eight saves.
Hiram drops to 2-4 on the season with the defeat.
The Terriers return on home on Saturday, Sept. 18 when they battle Washington & Jefferson on Senior Night with a match kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
