WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – September 13, 2021 – Hiram men's golf was defeated by Wooster, 4.5–0.5, on Monday at Kirtland Country Club in a match play event.
The single round event featured five golfers for both Hiram and Wooster over 18 holes.
Jacob Ullom defeated
Reece Zeigler 3&1 with Tyler Hilbert beating
Dean Hoyle 6&4.
Additionally, John Varley won against
Ryan Streator and Connor Mitchell beat out
Cole Bates both with scores of 5&4.
Cole Bates was able to tie with TJ Harper giving Hiram half of a point.
The team will next play on Sunday, Sept. 26 and Monday, Sept. 27 when they travel to Meadville, Pa. and take part in the Guy & Jeane Kuhn Invitational hosted by Allegheny College.
