HIRAM, Ohio - April 18, 2021 – Hiram College STUNT swept a pair of Senior Day matches against Concordia (Mich.) University and Olivet College on Saturday at Price Gymnasium, topping the Cardinals, 20-4, and the Comets, 13-6.
The Terriers got off to a hot start in their opening match against Concordia, sweeping the first quarter to take a 4-0 lead. Hiram continued rolling into the second quarter, picking up the first three points before heading to halftime with a 7-0 lead.
The Cardinals picked up two points in the third quarter, but the Terriers matched them point-for-point, earning every point in the third quarter to extend their lead to 11-2. Hiram then picked up every point in the fourth quarter as well, scoring nine points in the quarter to finish off a 20-4 victory over the Cardinals.
In game two against the Comets, both Hiram and Olivet picked up points in rounds one and two of the first quarter, before the Terriers earned a point in round three to take a 3-2 lead after one.
The two sides each earned a point in the second quarter, and Hiram headed into halftime up 4-3.
After both the Comet and Terriers picked up points in the opening round of the third, Hiram extended their lead, earning points in each of the next two rounds.
And up 7-4 after three, Hiram solidified their lead with three points in each of the first two rounds of the fourth quarter, finishing off a 13-6 victory over the Comets and a Senior Day sweep.

Miranda Mordue.
The Terriers will be back in action on Sunday, May 2 when they travel to Alma, Mich. for the D3 STUNT National Championships.
