HIRAM, Ohio - November 2, 2021 – Hiram College men's basketball opens the 2021 season on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at home against Baldwin Wallace University at 7 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium.
The Terriers then take part in the Gettysburg Tip-Off Tournament, hosted by Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, Pa. Hiram battles with Penn St. Abington on Friday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m., and the following day, the Terriers play either Gettysburg or Mary Baldwin, with a tip-off time to be announced.
Hiram returns home playing Waynesburg on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. Hiram's final game before conference play begins is a road matchup at Bluffton on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 3 p.m.
Allegheny will be Hiram's first North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) opponent as the Terriers and Gators meet in Meadville, Pa. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.
Heading into the holiday season, Hiram plays a trio of NCAC opponents. The squad plays Wittenberg on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium. Following that are two road games at Denison and Wooster. The Terriers take on Denison on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m., and play Wooster on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.
The Terriers' final two non-conference games of the year will be against La Roche and Pitt. Bradford. Hiram travels to Pittsburgh, Pa. on Friday, Dec. 17 facing the Redhawks at 7 p.m. And then capping off the 2021 calendar year is a matchup with Pitt. Bradford on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 3 p.m.
Hiram heads into the new year with three home NCAC contests. Hiram welcomes Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. The Terriers then play DePauw and Wabash on back-to-back days on Saturday, Jan. 8 and Sunday, Jan 9 with both games scheduled for 3 p.m.
On Saturday, Jan. 15, Hiram travels to Oberlin for a 3 p.m. contest.
At about the midway point of conference play, Hiram hosts the Kenyon Lords playing on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. The team then hits the road compete at Wittenberg on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m.
Two straight home games follow for the Terriers. Hiram plays Allegheny on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. Wooster then heads to Price Gymnasium with a contest scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.
The Terriers play Denison on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium.
Closing out the road stretch of the regular are two games at Ohio Wesleyan and Kenyon. The Terriers hit the court at the Batting Bishops on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. The team then travels to Gambier, Ohio for their game against the Lords on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m.
The Terriers' final home and regular season contest is against Oberlin on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.
