Hiram Women’s Soccer Drops Conference Contest at Kenyon

GAMBIER, Ohio - October 23, 2021 Hiram women's soccer fell to the Kenyon College Ladies, 3-0, on Saturday at Mavec Field.

After 31 minutes of scoreless play, Olivia Dion got the Ladies on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 32nd minute, assisted by Chloe Webb, to take a 1-0 lead.

Skyler Huda and the Terriers held Kenyon at bay the rest of the first half, tallying two first-half saves to head into the locker room down 1-0.

Hiram continued to hold the Ladies to just the one-goal advantage early on in the second half before Talulla Sheridan broke through off assists from Julia Igoe and Dion to make it a 2-0 Kenyon lead with under 18 minutes to play.

The ladies then extended their lead just over six minutes later in the 79th minute, as Samantha Hayes put it past the keeper to put the finishing touches on Kenyon's victory.

With the loss, Hiram drops to 2-13 (0-5 NCAC) on the year, while Kenyon moves to 7-7-1 (4-1-1 NCAC).
