Lindsey Stahl notched 1,000 career digs as the Hiram College women's volleyball team split a pair of games at the Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic on Friday afternoon.
The Terriers fell 3-2 in a five-set battle against Baldwin Wallace, before capturing a 3-0 win over host Wooster in their final game of the tournament.
Stahl entered play on Friday with 995 career digs and recorded her 1,000th career dig early in the first set against Baldwin Wallace.
Against the Yellowjackets, Hiram trailed 1-0 before taking the second set 29-27, dropping the third set 25-17 before grabbing set four 25-19. Baldwin Wallace was able to rally in the fifth, winning the set 15-7 to clinch the match.
Three Terriers finished with double-digit digs, led by Stahl who had 27. Cole added 16 digs and freshman
Mackenzie Brannon finished with 13.
Against Wooster, it was Hiram who prevailed in three straight sets 25-20, 25-16, and 25-14.

Lindsey Walker paced the Terrier offensive attack, finishing with 18 and 14 kills, respectively. Franks and Martin chipped in with five kills apiece.
Chrustic added a team-high 39 assists on the night.
The Terriers will be back in action on Tuesday, September 17 as they travel to John Carroll. The matchup is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
