DELAWARE, Ohio. - November 2, 2019- The Hiram College men's soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision against Ohio Wesleyan in their final match of the season.
The Battling Bishops wasted no time as Ohio Wesleyan scored in the first fifty seconds of the game.
The host scored two more times in the 16th and 32nd minutes to stretch the OWU lead to 3-0.
Hiram fired a pair of shots in the first half, but none made it to the back of the net.
The second frame mirrored the first, with the Battling Bishops adding another three goals (6-0).
Sophomore
Shelby Edwards and senior
CJ Keith each spent time in goal. Edwards tallied four of the seven Hiram saves.
Senior
Stephen Barimah led the Hiram group with four of the team's eight shots.
The Terriers finish their season with a record of 6-10-2 (2-7, NCAC), while the Battling Bishops finish with a 12-4-3 (7-1-1, NCAC) record.
