HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College women's basketball team bowed out of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships on Tuesday night, falling to the Oberlin Yeowomen in the quarterfinals by a final score of 60-43.

The Terriers, who entered the game seeded fourth in the conference, finished their season with a record of 17-9 (9-7, NCAC).

Oberlin led the entire game, which was mainly due to their strong defensive performance. The Yeowomen tallied 10 blocks over the course of the contest, with seven coming from Olivia Canning.

Mercedes Jones led the Terrier offense, posting 11 points in her 39 minutes of play. Erica Johnson also was a key contributor, racking up 10 points.

Despite the loss, the Terriers still managed to make program history. Hiram set new program standards, breaking previous records in total number of wins and conference victories. The Terriers also hosted the NCAC quarterfinals for the first time in their 11 NCAC Championship appearances.
