Utter joins the men's soccer staff after a four-year playing career with Mount Union. The 2026 graduate earned back-to-back ALL-OAC selections in 2024 and 2025. Utter appeared in 55 games with 39 starts in his four years with the Purple Raiders. In his senior year, he recorded six goals in nine shots on goal. Utter earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science – he was named first-team OCSA All-Ohio and CSC All-District for his academic performances.
Utter was a volunteer assistant for the Dover High School boys' soccer team in the fall of 2024. He also had a strength and conditioning coaching internship with McKinley Senior High School.
