Davis-Hereford will begin his second season as the Terriers wide receivers coach in the fall of 2025 after spending five years in the Hiram football program as one of the college’s most decorated receivers. He also will be serving as an assistant coach on the women's basketball staff in 2024-25 following a one-year tenure with the team as a student manager in 2023-24.
Davis-Hereford led the Terriers in receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns in three of his four years at Hiram, recording over 500 receiving yards in each of those seasons. He tallied 10 receiving touchdowns over his career, which included 167 receptions. Raequan ranks all over the Hiram football record book. His 167 career receptions place second in program history behind Glenn Campbell Jr.’s 207 receptions. He is also fourth in career receiving yards with 2,021 and tied for sixth with 10 career receiving touchdowns. Davis-Hereford’s 72 receptions in 2022 alone mark the second-most in a single season in program history.
Davis-Hereford also holds the program record for receiving yards in a game, when he caught an impressive 289 yards against Ohio Wesleyan in 2021. He also tied the program record for receptions in a game, when he caught 15 passes on two separate occasions in 2022.
Raequan Davis-Hereford graduated from Hiram College with a degree in sports management. Prior to Hiram, he graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland, Ohio, where he played football through the 2019 season and earned multiple all-conference honors in football and basketball.
