Wilson started with Hiram College Women’s Lacrosse on August 5, 2024 and will lead the program’s return to competition in 2026. Wilson most recently served as an assistant coach at the University of Akron (2023-24) following seven seasons of coaching experience with Longwood University (2021-23) and Ursuline College (2017-21 – Interim Head Coach in 2018).
While at Longwood (Division I, Farmville, VA), Wilson helped the Lancers to a six-win season in 2022, highlighted by Big South wins over Radford, Presbyterian and Winthrop. The team would carry that success over to the start of 2023, when it won its first two games on the road at George Mason and Kennesaw State.
Wilson began her coaching career at Ursuline (Division II, Pepper Pike, OH), where she notably served as the program’s interim head coach in 2018. The Arrows won six of their final 11 regular-season games that year, which qualified them for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.
Wilson was a standout lacrosse player, too, both throughout her collegiate years at Capital University and at the professional level as a goalkeeper and midfielder. She competed at the World Cup Lacrosse Festival in Surrey Park, England in 2017, as well as the European Championship in Netanya, Israel in 2019, where her team (US Elite) won first place.
At Capital University (Division III, Columbus, OH) from 2014-17, Wilson had a 37-12 record as the goalkeeper and currently holds the Capital women’s lacrosse program record for career saves (427), save percentage (.525) and wins (37). She was an All-OAC selection in 2014 (First Team), 2015 (Second Team) and 2016 (First Team). Wilson also landed the OAC Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2014 and First Team IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association) All-Great Lakes Region Honors at the end of the 2016 season.
Wilson began her lacrosse career at Chagrin Falls High School, where she earned All-American status.
Wilson earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and coaching from Capital University and her Master of Business Administration from Longwood University.
