Szekeres joins the Terriers as the assistant women's lacrosse coach for the 2025-26 season, which marks the program's first season since it was reinstated prior to the 2024-25 academic year..

Szekeres previously attended Cranford High School (Cranford, NJ) and Kean University (Division III | Union, NJ), where she was a member of the women's lacrosse team for four years.  During her tenure with the Cougars, the team won 25 games, which included an impressive 9-8 record in 2024.

Also during her time at Kean, Szekeres was a two-year IMPACT campus leader, a member of the Kean Sports Business Club and a three-year member of the student-athlete leadership program. Szekeres also was a coach at the youth club level for DEWLAX.
