Schweickert enters his 12th year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations at Hiram College in 2025-26, and his 16th year with the department.
In addition to his role with the Terriers, Schweickert also owns Maggie's and More, a coffee and donut shop just off Hiram's campus whose mission is to employ differently-abled individuals.
Schweickert has also coached cross country at Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio for the past 10 years.
Prior to re-joining the Terriers, Schweickert served as the cross country and track coach at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio from 2004-08.
Previously, Schweickert also served as the cross county coach and an assistant athletic director at Lake Erie College in Painsville, Ohio from 1998-2003.
Schweickert began his career in college athletics in 1992, serving as both the cross country and track & field coach for Hiram College from 1992-97.
Schweickert earned his bachelor's degree in history from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio in 1989, and his master's degree in physical education from Slippery Rock University in Butler County, Pa. in 1996.
He and his wife, Abra `91, live in Hiram Township, Ohio with their six kids.
