Hines joins the Terriers as one of the assistant track & field coaches (throws) for the 2025-26 season and beyond, having officially joined Hiram College toward the end of June 2025. Hines previously competed at Albion College (Division III | Albion, MI), where he was a Second-Team All-American in the shot put and a first team all-conference selection in both the shot put and discus. Hines also competed in football over his five years at Albion College, earning Second-Team All-MIAA honors in 2023 as a member of the team's defensive line.
Hines earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Albion College this past spring. He is originally from Grand Rapids, MI, where he attended Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School.Â
