Collins enters her second year as assistant coach for cross country and track and field, having previously competed as a student-athlete at Livingstone College (Division II, Salisbury NC). She hails from Jacksonville, FL.
Her Division II career included participation in the indoor pentathlon, the 400-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash, 4x400 and 4x100 relays, along with breaking the school record for the indoor 500-meter run. She was also part of the distance medley relay (DMR) team, which made all-conference.
She graduated Cum Laude from Livingstone College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and was also a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
