Burns is entering her fourth year on the Hiram STUNTÂ coaching staff, most recently serving as the interim head coach in 2025 before earning the promotion to full-time head coach in 2026. She also served as an assistant coach for a Terriers team that advanced all the way to the STUNT National Championship in 2024.
As an athlete, Burns spent four years on Hiram’s Cheer and STUNT team as a backspot (2018-2022), where she was the fourth-ranked player on the team in power rating in 2021. She also served as a team captain in three of her four years with the program.
Burns received a B.A in Integrative Exercise Science and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Hiram College.
