Workman enters her second season with the Terriers in 2024, as the cross country team gets set to begin its second season since returning for the first time since 2014. Workman has also been working in the Hiram College Office of Development and Alumni Relations since September 2018.

Workman competed in the hurdles, dashes, relay teams and steeplechase while a student-athlete at Baldwin Wallace University. She nearly set the school record in the 400-meter hurdles at Baldwin Wallace, and also was a member of the 2016 Indoor Women's D-III National Championship Team.

At Danville High School in Danville, Ohio, Workman still holds the 300-meter hurdle record, which stood for 30 years before Workman broke it in 2011.

Workman's husband, James, is the head golf coach at Hiram. They live in the Hiram area and have five dogs and two cats.
