Career Statistics

2024-25: Swam a personal best time of 1:02.25 in the 100 yard backstroke against Wittenberg University. Swam a season best time of 2:09.22 in the 200 meter freestyle against Wilmington College. Swam another season best time of 1:08.69 in the 100 meter backstroke in the same meet. Swam a personal best time of 1:50.68 in the 200 yard freestyle at the Malone Invitational meet. Swam a personal best time of 57.50 in the 100 yard backstroke at the same meet. David had a great meet to finish out his sophomore season. One of these times includes his time of 21.80 in the 50 yard freestyle in the 200 medley relay which broke a long standing school record. In addition to this, David swam a personal best time of 56.16 in the 100 yard backstroke and 2:09.04 in the 200 yard backstroke at the NCAC Championship meet in Granville, Ohio.


2023-24: Swam a personal best time of 2:06.95 in the 200 meter freestyle against Wittenberg University. Swam a personal best time of 5:08.01 in the 500 yard freestyle at the Malone Invitational meet. Swam another personal best time of 1:51.10 in the 200 yard freestyle at the same meet. Swam a personal best time of 5:04.21 in the 500 yard freestyle at the NCAC championship meet.

High School: 2x Distance Swimmer of the Year at Mentor High School (Mentor, OH) ... Named Most Improved Swimmer and Team Captain while with the Cardinals.

Personal: Middle Education major (English and History specializations) ... son of Rich and Kelly Slovenkay.
