HIRAM, Ohio - February 21, 2026 - Hiram women's basketball wrapped up its season with a 65-52 loss to Allegheny on Saturday afternoon at Price Gymnasium, marking the end to a promising 2025-26 campaign.
Â
Prior to the contest, the Terriers honored seniors Sarah Seaman and Advika Srinivasan, a pair of players who transferred to the team midway through their collegiate careers before finding a home in the blue and red.Â
Â
Srinivasan finished the game having played in all 25 games and averaging nearly 10 points per contest, finding a role as an offensive threat outside the arc. Seaman finished the regular season ranking in the top-five in the PAC in scoring average, finding a role as the team's go-to scorer. Both Srinivasan (Clarkson University) and Seaman (Fredonia State) transferred to Hiram College ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Â
As for the game itself, Hiram played its best basketball in the third quarter, outscoring the Gators during that span, 19-13. The Terriers went on an 11-0 run midway through the period, with Liz Doup fueling the charge. Doup finished the quarter with 12 points in 6:26 of playing time.
Â
Allegheny answered the Terriers to start the fourth quarter, gaining a lead as large as 15 points in the opening minutes. Hiram would eventually cut the margin to 7 points, but the Gators finished the conference game with a multi-possession lead.
Â
Hiram was led by Doup with 12 points, while Seaman and Isabella Caceres each had 10 points. Maya Joiner had 10 rebounds and Caceres added five assists to round out the production.
Â
Aside from Seaman and Srinivasan, Hiram will return a number of key contributors ahead of 2026-27, which marks the team's second season in its return to the PAC. In the meantime, the team will begin offseason training in preparation for the new academic year in the fall.
