HIRAM, Ohio – September 10, 2025 - Hiram men's lacrosse welcomed a new member to their staff earlier this week, as Mark Payton joined the staff from Davis & Elkins College (Division II | Elkins, WV).

Payton has also worked as an assistant at American International College (Division II | Springfield, MA) and served as a men's lacrosse intern at College of the Holy Cross (Division I | Worcester, MA). Payton has also spent time in the club lacrosse scene, having worked with the Piatelli Stallions Travel program.

Payton is originally from Barrington, RI and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and Masters of Science degree in Athletic Administration from Lasell University (Division III | Newton, MA).

Hiram men's lacrosse will be back in action in late February as they look to make their mark in their first season of PAC play.
