HIRAM, Ohio – May 12, 2025 – Hiram's
Joslyn Marion (women's golf) and
Ian Muka (men's golf) each earned All-NCAC Third Team honors on Monday, as announced in a release by the North Coast Athletic Conference.
It marks the first career all-conference selection for both student-athletes, who have made their mark on the Hiram College golf programs in different ways throughout the 2024-25 campaign.
Marion capped off her four-year career with the all-conference honor following a season that saw her post a team-best score in all seven of Hiram's events between the fall and spring seasons. The Niles, OH native notably placed ninth in a field of 29 student-athletes at the Inaugural Jimmy Hanlin Golf Classic in early April, which included a score of 91 in the second round at Little Mountain Golf Course.
Muka, who was in his first Division III season after transferring from Mount Vernon Nazarene (NAIA), made a splash in his three events of competition this spring. After placing in the top-20 at the Jimmy Hanlin Golf Classic and getting more experience at the Caschera/DiCillo Classic, the first-year spearheaded Hiram with a +16 over three rounds at the NCAC Championships at Otter Creek Golf Course (Columbus, IN). Muka shot a team-best 76 in both the first and second rounds of that event.
Hiram golf will return to action in the PAC this fall, when both the men's and women's teams get set for another full season of competition on the course.
