LATROBE, Pennsylvania – January 23, 2025 – Hiram College men's wrestling faced a tough road matchup, falling to the Saint Vincent Bearcats by a final score of 48-6 in PAC competition. Despite the loss, the Terriers battled hard against a strong Bearcats squad.
The highlight of the night for Hiram came at heavyweight, where freshman
Michael Hopson secured an impressive pin over Christo Marion in four minutes. It marked the first win of Hopson's collegiate career.
Also spotlighting the night was freshman
Jackson Bowers, who lost in a lengthy battle by a 5-1 decision against Tyler Debnar. Other competitors for the road team were

Hiram now sits at 1-2 in PAC play and 2-6 in duals overall as it continues through a rigorous winter season. The Terriers will aim to regroup as they prepare for their next conference matchup on the road against the Thiel Tomcats next Tuesday at 7 p.m. back in Pennsylvania.
