NEW CONCORD, Ohio – December 15, 2023 – The Hiram men's wrestling team capped off the 2023 calendar year with a tight dual against Muskingum; Jayce Dietrich picked up a win in the 157-lb weight class, but the team fell just short, 33-24 (full results below).

Dietrich beat Chris Davis by fall (3:35) to score the Terriers 6 of their 24 points. Seth Holt, Jimmy Thomas and Zach Harper also won by forfeit.

Also competing hard on the evening was Ian Fuentes, Kason Greenwood, Will Brodbeck, Ashton Kauf and Eddie Powers. Brodbeck (141 lbs) had a narrow defeat to Aiden Johnson by decision (13-8).

Hiram will return to the mats on Saturday, January 6 at 10 a.m., when it travels to Fairmont, West Virginia for the Fairmont State Invitational.
