UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - December 10, 2023 - The Hiram men's wrestling team lost its pair of duals to John Carroll (46-6) and Otterbein (47-6) on Sunday afternoon, putting together a hard-fought effort against two OAC opponents to wrap up a busy week (full results below).

Freshman Jon Waszil picked up a victory by fall (3:35) over Otterbein's Tamas Eder to give the Terriers six team points in the second of the two duals. The team earned six points in the opening matchup against the Blue Streaks by forfeit.

Will Brodbeck, Seth Holt and Jimmy Thomas competed hard throughout the day; each of the three student-athletes avoided a loss by fall.

Hiram will take on another OAC opponent on Friday, when it travels to New Concord, Ohio to battle Muskingum at 7 p.m.
