Highlighting Saturday's match against Hilbert was Darren Chiang, who set the program record with 52 assists in his return to the starting lineup inside Price Gymnasium. Chiang passed his former teammate, Matthew Albano, who had the previous record with 51 assists at Grove City in April 2025. Chiang beat his previous career-best of 49 assists, which came last Saturday against Penn State Altoona. He helped fuel a Terriers attack that had more than 10 kills in every set as part of a four-set win over the Hawks.
