Makrancy had an efficient night against Case Western Reserve University this past Wednesday, shooting 7-11 from the field, finishing the night with a season-high 15 points. Makrancy sparked a second half rally against the Spartans, as he scored 11 of his 15 in the second half. The senior from Findlay, Ohio is shooting 56% from the field and 54.2% from behind the arc through 8 games this year. Makrancy ranks in the top-three on the team in points, rebounds, assists, and minutes played.
