For Jones, he burst onto the scene Saturday afternoon at the PAC Championships, leading the Terriers to an eighth-place team finish and having an impressive individual performance as well. Jones earned a 30th-place finish on the individual leaderboard, running a time of 29:33. This time has become Jones's new personal best, beating his old personal best of 31:00 by 1:27. The sophomore from Austintown, Ohio has made a huge jump in his personal best, and will look to carry his strong momentum on November 15, when they travel to Louisville, KY for the NCAA Regional.
