Hiram took the lead within the first three minutes of the game and later took a 2-1 lead in the opening three minutes of the second quarter this past Saturday against Allegheny. Both of those scores came courtesy of Mayer, who became the sixth player in program history to reach 70 career goals and added to his team-leading total of five goals this season.
