Rutkowski wasn't far from winning the high jump, placing second in the event with a mark of 5' 3¼ (second in NCAC). Slippery Rock's Paige Griffith won the event (5' 5¾"), but not without an impressive challenge from Rutkowski that also marked the second-best jump in her career.
