Bentley nearly pulled off the title in the 110-lb bracket at the Albion College Women's Open this past Sunday in Michigan, advancing all the way to the championship match and guaranteeing herself at least a top-two finish in the event. She made it that far thanks to a pair of victories in the quarterfinals against Albion's Lynsey Light (fall, 1:28) and in the semifinals against Alma's Caroline Farris (fall, 2:57).

The senior from Hubbard, OH then lost to Indiana Tech's Tehani Soares by fall (0:40) in the championship match to wrap up an exciting day on the mats.
